Entrepreneurial Value Investing
the love for business, people and
working to create value.

This is the real passion of an entrepreneur.

We look at the World as Entrepreneurs

Strategy

Understand

We are looking for companies that we understand and can find a hidden value that is not jet discovered.

Focus

The concentration on 8-10 companies is made by design. This amount can be managed in a small team at low costs.

Value

Entrepreneurial Value Investing requires a deep understanding of companies and act like an owner. Value is much more than buying on low fundamentals.

Our Thinking and Acting

Insights

Our Process

Our clients are often surprised by the possibilities we present to them; by thinking outside the box we present exciting new ventures:

  • Understand the business model
  • Find hidden value
  • Solid financials basics
  • Low or wrong attention
  • Competitive advantage
  • Solid management
  • Market liquidity
  • Clear strategy for timing
To understand the business model and to see where we can discover hidden values. To do this, we need to take a close look at the fundamentals of the business. Like any other value investor, we need to understand how to read and interpret the fundamentals.
Find values that the company has not yet fully exploited. This is where entrepreneurial thinking from outside helps us. Good entrepreneurs can discover value that is not only visible in the fundamentals.
The base of every company is the business model and how the management can execute it. This can be seen in the financials. I am looking for companies that might have fallen out of favor but still have a solid base. It is essential that the company can bring a positive cash flow over the next years to have money for growth, development, and cover debt.
Companies that do not get much attention because they do not fit into the regular profile of an investor. This might be in terms of size, location, industry, or market segment.
The company must be able to demonstrate clear competitive advantages that can be maintained over the long term. Much has been written about such “moats” and we follow the thoughts of Charlie Munger. The “moats” must be able to survive the next 10 years, even if the world changes very quickly.
